I figured that it was, but I thought that I would throw it out there anyway incase anyone else from the N East might want to attend. Jim

Back to East West saws, I have 2 Homelite 330's. was there a west coast version of that model? The reason I ask is one saw was owned by a tree service, that one has a duel port cover on the muffler. Or was a low restriction muffler offered as an option? Would there be a 'W' in the serial # if it was a west coast version? CSW

I'm really confused about all the above but I think I have some west vs east saw info to add.
I took a look at a couple of 450's / 550's I have and I think one difference I noticed about these saws is that the gas tanks are different, maybe.
I have to look again, but I think the west coast models have the availability of installing a full wrap handle and the easties do not.
Above the clutch there is a flat or a round attach me point on the tank. I see flat on some and rounded on the WC style beasties.
Anyone else chime in on this?

I have them in both versions so I guess I will have to take a look.
