I think the reason why the TSB said to replace it all was because they were converting from 82cc down to 77cc.This would require a new jug, piston,& ring.I'm buying a set of 55537 rings as well as the 69452 rings (already bought). The piston looks to be in good shape,so it's not being changed. At this point I'm only out $35-$40 in parts.

The 925 will be getting new seals too.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I could see in the IPL it requires a felt seal - part # 59926 (I think I already have a couple),& 2 12282A seals which cross to a SKF/CR 6119 or 6120.

I'm reviving this thread as it took the better part of 2 mo.to get the parts I needed.A seller on Feebay held things up for almost a mo.due to him mailing a ring to me & not putting a tracking # on it.I've got 2 different sets of rings because no one could tell me if the saw used thin or thick rings.I've got for thin rings, part # 69452,thick rings, part # 55537,cylinder gasket, part #63778-1,crankshaft,part # 67168-3,2 crank seals,SKF 6119 (replaces 12282A),felt seal, part # 59926.I did however in my absentmindedness forget to get a new Woodruff key, part # 75078.I can't see paying upwards of $2.50 for a Woodruff key that I can get at my local hardware store for under 50 cents.

Well, here we are almost 6 mo.later.I shipped the saw to my buddy down in W.V.to have him work on it.He was able to clean up the piston & put the new set of rings in it.The flywheel is pretty much toast,so we found a used one on feebay for $30.The problem he's having is getting the module onto the crank. To refresh, the crank is a part # 67168-3.

It seems there was a rubber piece in the module for something.I had to pull apart a 360 parts saw for a new Woodruff key & send it to him.As soon as he gets the flywheel & the key he'll try firing up the saw.

Update on the 925 - my buddy got the Woodruff key & the flywheel over the weekend & he finished putting it together. It has new crank seals, cylinder gasket, & new rings as well as the new crankshaft. The saw fired right up & ran very well.I'll be getting it back toward the end of this week.I can't wait to take it out this spring to cut if I'm able.

I finally got the long awaited 925 in the mail today only to find out that the post office now has gorillas working for them. The box had a huge tear down one corner & I'm surprised some of the contents weren't lost. The end result was a broken bracket mount.I'm hoping that I've found one in my inventory.

If the brackets are the same on a 922 I’ll mail you one if you can’t find one. What’s the part number on that one?

I found another bracket mount late last night,it didn't have the same part # as the one that was on the saw - 68766-1.I can't remember the entire #,but it started with 633..
