Maybe someone can help me here? I bought a $200 Chevy truck with a bunch of "junk" in the back......one of the pieces was a Homelite 360 Automatic. It runs like a champ!!! Very strong saw!! Bar/chain does not receive the oil it needs. I would like to fix it myself (I enjoy my garage time) but cannot find a manual for it anywhere. I like to buy old equipment, but I really like having the manuals! Please help, JJ

I believe these came in both an adjustable (earlier) and non-adjustable oiler versions? Which do you have? Nice score though, you almost got all your money back on just the saw alone.

Thank you to everyone that responded....The saw I have is an adjustable oiler, and I think most of the problems started when the adjustment screw was missing. I have tried other screws based on what I could find on-line with not much success, long story short I don't want to damage anything going rouge!
Thanks again, and I will keep checking this blog!!

When you say adjustment screw are you talking about the bent sheet metal tab that fastens to the front of the oiler with a screw or the follower screw that installs in the side of the saw by the bar mount pad?
The stuff on the front of the oiler won't affect anything. The follower screw on the side of the saw is a totally different deal. The oiler won't work without it of course, but if it's not installed correctly, it can be collapsed which will also keep the oiler from working. Don't ask me how I know!
