I was doing a little research on testing condensers & came across this article:https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=AwrJ7FiykTRf9moAqFJXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTByaWg0YW05BGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwM4BHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzcg--/RV=2/RE=1597309491/RO=10/RU=https%3a%2f%2fmgaguru.com%2fmgtech%2fignition%2fig129.htm/RK=2/RS=di1QGH7MbtNSegcozYyG1E31Bhw-
On the very last sentence it summed it all up:A capacitor may absorb moisture over a long period of time, and moisture can cause failure of the condenser. So it is possible that a condenser stored for 10 years or so might be bad or might fail prematurely in service. It is a good idea to check your traveling spare condenser occasionally.
