Oh, speaking of 750s... I meant to ask ya Bill, was the piston and cylinder any good on the parts saw that you had up a few days ago? I see that Lance went after it but didn't bid what ya wanted for it. I honestly thought you were doing good to get over 100 for it.

I put $425 on it a few days ago.
I wanted the ice chain and bar.
I am not allowed to ebay at work.
Maybe I will have a student go look.
It could be me.

I must have bid more than 425 I have a email in my personal account that is asking for a declared value for shipping from canada. I know it is not $500 I will not pay that much unless I can touch it or know who owns it.

A lot of us watched that saw. Unfortunately out of my budget right now. What about the 650 coming up? How does it compare to a 750?

I had a student use his wireless to check my account I am also the successful owner of a model 290 as well. The Mrs. is not going to be happy.......
I have come to find a lot of parts fit between the Two 650/750. Most of the parts I needed to fix up a beater 750 parts saw came from a 650. It seems the body work or sheet metal is the same.

Congrats Mike!
Looks like you got a good one. I think you've got a much better saw there than the painted up one from early April. The 290 looks nice also.

Didn't take long to bust her up! If ya had put a pic up of the piston like this one, you may have got some higher bids.

Dan Thanks Dan, I could not resist throwing a bid at it when it was sitting At $255 for that period of time. I also figured who else would see the value in a loop of chain all ground to Crap for cutting ice?? It went cheap. I am not sure I needed the 290. I looked good and the guy mentioned it ran excellant. I hope it is a good running saw. From the MA site it appears to be made by SOLO?? ooh well. Bill if you put saws up could you send me a PM with a llink to your equipment. Thanks
