I've got a question on a part for an EZ.What's the difference between part # 65071-1 & 65131-1?They're both drivecase covers, one is supposedly for a manual oiler only (65071-1) & the other is for an automatic oiler (65131-1).When I look at the pics I can't tell the difference.

The clutch "relief" is a bit deeper for the automatic oiler saws, as the crankshaft itself is a bit longer on the clutch side.

So essentially I can use the auto oiler drivecase cover on the manual only saw,but I can't use the manual only cover on the auto oiler saw.

I think it's the other way around Ed. But if you do put the straight EZ cover on a SEZ, there will be a gap between the rear part of the cover and the side of the saw just ahead of the muffler.
Which cover are you looking for? A saw with or without automatic oiler?

You can't mix either without using the correct length crankshaft, or the clutch sprocket won't line up with the bar.
Terry manual only saws used all auto parts, with a spacer to take up the thickness of the oiler.

I was able to put a Super Mini drive cover on my manual oiler only XL-1. It fits without any problems.
Don’t think the XL-1 drive cover will fit on the Super Mini though. As Was mentioned , the clutch relief isn’t as deep in the XL1 cover and the clutch may hit.
I think this is what Ed asking?

EZ in blue, SEZ in red, hopefully the differences in drivecase depth and crankshaft length can be seen from the picture.

I apologize, somehow I missed that this was about covers, not the drivecases themselves.

I don't think I have one of those. I figured that was the one you wanted. The AO drivecase covers are dime a dozen.
