I have a c-71 that runs good but am having trouble finding a new bar. The only ones I have found so far are almost at bottom here www.psep.biz/store/homelite_gb_guide_bars.htm#GBH30_63PA They have a 21", and 30" that are supposed to fit c-series. I have never seen any of these GB bars though. Anyone have any experience with them?? Thanks in advance for any info. Jim

I use this one and my superxl for storm cleanup, and firewood for my lake lot. Also to help my dad clean up on the farm, when he needs a bigger saw. The super xl is a 16, so this 24 goes pretty good w/ it. I should have mentioned before I don't realy want to go any smaller than the 24" as that would null the point of haveing the "bigger" saw.
I am not to worried about the roller tip, just that was the first (and only) bar I found for a c-series homelite. $20 for a 20" is good deal, now if they just had a 24" for $24. As far as the 3/8 x .063, I am not sure, I remember that mine is 3/8 but I want to say .058. I realy need to check, but a drive sprocket shouldnt b hard to find.
Thanks for the reply, Jim

I am running a G-B 42" on my "hot-rod" C5 with a .404 chain and I am very happy with it cutting maple and ash.
