This saw came in my truckload of saws back in Feb.The reason I know it's brand new & never been used is because when I took the drivecase cover off there was a piece of cardboard in between the bar plates in the shape of an E to fit around the bar studs. There's also not a mark on the spur sprocket, indicating there was never a chain on the saw. There's something wrong with the choke rod because when I pull it it just comes out of the air box,it's not connected to the carb. There's also a fuel line that looks like it was cut & I need to find out where it hooks onto the carb. The saw is complete except for the bar & chain. This could've been a display model, that's why the fuel line was cut.A lot of box stores will do that to an item to render it useless so it can't be fished out of a dumpster & be used or sold.It did fire on a prime.

I can't really post up any pics unless you enjoy looking at a saw half tore apart.Lol I had to pull the carb on it today to find out how the choke lever hooks on.Once apart it's so simple.Whoever pulled on the choke lever must've had gorilla hands.Either that or the choke rod was never hooked, but this scenario is highly doubtful.I'll just need a choke rod grommet & a bar & chain & it should be good to go.I didn't see anywhere on the carb for another line to hook onto & since there's no primer bulb I'm thinking the extra line is a vent line for the fuel tank like the 290 has.
