The owner said it it didn’t matter how much he sharpened it! It just refused to cut wood!! I was happy to give him $10 for it. It runs good. Needs a little carb tuning but otherwise it runs fine. My wife picked it up for me. I didn’t realize the issue until I got home. I probably would have showed him the problem and taught him how to do it correctly. Then came home with nothing. Good or bad? Depends on how you look at it. Can you spot the problem???

I have done that of course just like everyone else. I can say without any reservations however, that I NEVER tried to cut with it like that.
That last picture is fuzzy but it looks dull as well. Is it actually sharp?

Is it actually sharp? Not anymore. He actually tried cutting with it and by doing so it rounded over the edge. If you think of the angle the tooth is in when running backwards you can probably get an idea of what it looks like.

Used to turn one around on fairly regular occasion when I was in the shop. Sure left the owners with a funny look on their face. More disgust and disappointment in themselves than anything else I reckon.
