I bought this saw a few weeks ago hoping it would run ok and I'd use it in the tree, but after a partial carb rebuild it seems to have an air leak. It starts up easily and runs, but if tipped on the side the idle will increase a good amount. Compression is 80 so it is low. I may get a new piston ring and new crank seals. Seals are about $20 - $25 for the pair on ebay. I would have expected them to be less expensive but I can't be too picky, huh. The oil is not flowing at the moment but I do think it was flowing when I first started it. The saw is missing the hand guard, one mounting bolt between the housing and the engine, and a correct style bar that can actually be adjusted with the tension adjustment screw. Attachments:
