Gents,
This fall I refurbished my super 2 with parts from Calvin's shop and I have been using it all winter. My problem is the chain loosens up pretty fast. I tighten it when it sags so much that the whole link is visible on the bottom. It's never jumped the bar though. It only has one nut on the bar and I'm afraid to crank on it too hard for fear of breaking it. Any tricks to keeping it tight?
The chain is a few seasons old but I don't use it that often. Could it be stretching? It seems well oiled.
If I could find a manual for this saw I wouldn't have to ask these rookie questions.

I have noticed that too, I think it has to do with the small size of the rivets, less area, more wear, more stretch.
