i love my varsol tank it works wonders on cleaning old oil and grime from a saw. the only draw back is it is expensive bout 30 dollars for five gallons and the chemical vat i use is 15 gallons minimum.. depending on my intentions after that if i want to paint said piece i teart down saw and far as i can removing carb, electronics fuel lines impulse lines oiler and gears. then i put a huge pot on my fish cooker and add bout a cup of powdered detergent for a dishwasher and let her boil . the only saw i did this way was one i had tore down for crank bearings . but all in all the thing was spotless and paint adheres real well after this lil tedious process . p.s. the lil woman of the house tends to lean towards a furious state when she comes home and you have fogotten what time it is and she walks thru the door and you have an oily saw in the kitchen sink . i think divorce papers were almost in the making that afternoon
