Hi guys I just picked up my for first 450 now I know that on Homelite they can have some play on the crank from clutch side to start her side which mine does I don't have a whole lot of compression but yet the piston and the cylinder looking through the exhaust Port are perfectly fine there is ware but there is absolutely no scoring no scratching no nothing could I have a problem with my SEALS or do you think I have a stuck ring

The seals don't directly effect compression. They keep the crankcase sealed to prevent extra air getting sucked in which will cause a lean running condition. Compression is all happening inside the cylinder above the ports, so if it's low, it's rings not sealing for whatever the reason. Stuck rings is definitely a possibility. Don't know if anyone suggested soaking 'em yet, but it's certainly worth a try. You could get dozens of possible soaking solutions depending on who ya ask, so I won't name any. Hopefully your seals are good because the 12306 has been getting tougher to find lately and prices have went up until most are nuts. Dan
