Hey guys, first post, so much great info here. I restored a model 17 a while ago and finally found a nice 28” brush clearing bar for it. I’m upgrading from a 26” solid bar but now I need a new chain and was hoping someone would know where to find one. 28”, .063

Hey, welcome to the House of Homelite!
Pictures of that saw!
The number of drive links would be needed, or bar numbers, to figure out a chain. The bar numbers might tell directly or they might be non-decipherable. Someone here will have the straight information. There are lots of sources if you know the number of drive links.

Model 17 clearing bar (A-55379) , would take 28" #10 chain (AA-73342)
#10 chain = 10AC-(Chipper) or 10AL-(Chisel) , 1/2" pitch , .063" gauge .
