Until today I didn't realize Homelite made a super zip. Are they very common and what is the difference between that and a regular zip?

I've never seen one myself... usually homelite used the "Super" designation to indicate a slightly larger displacement like a SXL vs XL-12 or Super 2 vs XL-2

I would be hesitant to take an ebay seller's word for it being a Super. I searched too and did not find anything that showed a decal or data plate with Super Zip on it. I did see a four picture ad of an estate saw the seller call super, but nothing in the pictures to back it up.
Anyone here have one?

DOM: 1960-61 , on eBay. Search eBay for a Homelite Super Zip, it will come up with a result of the above mentioned saw. Sorry, I'm old and cranky too !
