So tomorrow morning I hope to be picking up a nice Super 1050 Automatic FINALLY! I got burned once before but the gentleman said he'd wait for me🤞. If it comes through I'll be posting pictures of my 1st actual muscle saw. I have a 20mcs,5-30N which are both over 100cc's a Super XL-925 and a few 770's, are they considered muscle?

I personally consider anything about 80cc to be a muscle saw...but that's me. No matter, I've got my fingers crossed that the 1050 deal works out; you'll like that saw!

So I noticed that the saw doesn't have a Tillotson HL carb, any idea's on the model? Looks like a HS or Walbro.

We could probably start a whole new topic on what is considered a muscle saw. I agree with Leon that anything about 80cc and up is in this category. I guess for Homelites, I never really considered the oldies from the 50s as muscle saws. Not sure why, just my interpretation I guess. To me, the C series seem like the beginning of the Homelite muscle saws (big cubed engines with a more modern look). What do you guys perceive as a muscle saw?

Oh boy, I forgot that I had purchased 5 bucking spikes for my C series saws and had 1 left, now it's on the 1050😳
