The 1050 is gonna need a flywheel with bosses for pawls. The C-7 is set up with a FM type starter. You may be able to put the C-7 flywheel along with a C-7 starter! I think the C-72 used pawls and may be the same starter parts as a 1050.

The C52 used a FM with a cup like the C5/7/9. Its different than the C72, 1050, etc. No place to screw in pawls.

Right on Dan! My supplier has all kinds of rotors except the 1050. At one point I was very tempted to just swap all the c series stuff into this saw to see if it could be done. ( I still might) I am now shoping for a 64053-A Rotor. Back to the 1050/Super 1050 inquiry..... While I had access to his parts list i noticed that the super 1050 and super 1130 share many parts. When you go to the 1050 and 1130 Automatic pages very few part numbers line up between the supers and automatics. I realize that the air line for the idle adjust is absent on newer 1050 (making it different) but at one point (lot number) both the super and normal 1050 each had the same air/idle carb. so my conclusion is that there might be some porting differences? just a thought. Status of the super at this moment.... I got the parts installed on all the *other* saws I am working on (750, pair of 150's SXL, Xl-98)and had a little sunlight left to stare at the super 1050. Without the new rotor, I was kind of stalled.... I dug the rotor out of the bad parts pile and welded the hub. dremeled the weld into shape. Drove to TSC for a key. Belt sanded that into shape. Assembled the saw. Fueled it. Exactly two pulls and it runs like the B$tc*h it is. *I am convinced that flux lines getting there early make the points flash over or saturate the the condensor...... these ignition parts working in conjunction with the rest of the saw try to destroy my knuckles.* with that rotor in time with the points it still pulls over hard but when it fires... it catches and runs really well. Like I stated earlier I am tossing the rotor in hopes that a new to me one will mate (to/with) the crank to make this saw more reliable. There will be a WTB post soon. RS
