I had my neighbor take me to my local saw shop today to get a couple parts saws.We were standing there BS ing about this & that when Brian, the former owner, said to me "Ed I'm gonna shoot you a deal here, why not take all the remaining Homelites here for $150".I asked how many saws there were & he counted 34.A lot of 360's,some Super 2's,a few XL's,a couple more SEZ's with most of the goodies missing,A couple SXL's that are seized,a couple of 240's.Then I asked if he had any Macs left & at first he said no,but then he went over to the Mac dept.& found 5 that I hadn't scarfed up.There was a 30 series saw,a parts 10-10,a parts 2-10,an Eager Beaver,& a beat up in pieces double eagle 80 (82cc).Then he upped his price to $200 for all the Homies & Macs.I told him I'd think about it because I've got to figure out where I'm going to store 40 more chainsaws.Lol This is a heck of a deal at about $5/saw.I could easily get my money back on selling a couple of saws that are runners, but I'm finding that no one wants to buy an old Homelite because "you can't get parts for them anymore".That's what I hear all the time & my come back for that is"well it's awfully funny that I can find the parts".I'll be 62 in June & I figure that I'll have enough work with these saws till I'm about 80,if I should live that long.Lol Ed

Wow, I would do the deal for sure. I'd "find" the room to fit another 30+ saws! I wish I could find someone around here that had a stash of non-wanted Homies! They're hard to find around here....but, I just keep looking....

Nice score Ed! I'd never heard of a 192.

I was going through a box of recoils yesterday & found another saw! It's a complete XL Automatic. It has no spark,so I took off the recoil to see if maybe it was a bad switch.Holy cow what a conglomeration of wires! It has good compression & it looks like it has a Walbro carb.I'm wondering if the Super2 coil will work? It's an electronic saw.I'll get a pic of it on here to show you all what I'm talking about. Ed

The Super 2 and XL Automatics do use the same ignition.
