I have a 360 model and am wondering how to adjust the position of the throttle when it is in the start position, or the tab that holds the throttle open more is engaged but it does not hold the throttle open enough for proper starting. Dan

There's an adjustment screw on the front side of the throttle lock. You should be able to turn it clockwise with about an 1/8" flat screwdriver pretty much straight up vertical. Just turn it some then lock the throttle and start it to check the speed. Might take a few trials and error to get it where you want it. Occasionally a piece of the lock apparatus is broken and keeps it from functioning.

That was it. The rubber from the handle shrinking was covering more than it should by the throttle lock, so i cut a little off. This model draws the intake air up from the bottom of the carburetor housing through a screen opening. Is there any advantage to this? It seems like it would be easy to drop things or debris down the carburetor opening. Dan

Yeah the 360 intake certainly makes for a dirty carb chamber. But the top, the clean side, is typically about as clean as any you'll see. Not sure of any advantages other than that.
Glad you got your throttle lock figured out.
