scrounged up an xl 903 needs work and sadly a piston and cylinder because it looks like someone dropped a bolt inside I located a decent cylinder but will an xl925 piston work for a replacement. I can't find a 903 piston. unless someone here has one sitting around that they would be willing to part with. This old girl has been pretty neglected but one of the 900 series saws has been on my want list for a while. Also buddy laughed at me and said i'd never make it run so i have the make him eat his words incentive going on also

Welcome to House of Homelite. If the replacement cylinder is 2 1/16 inch bore then a 925 thick ring piston would work okay.

The ones from LRB would be thick ring. Thick ring on left thin on right. xl923 Cyls 923-925 pistons by Clasec, on Flickr
