This little/big guy followed me home today. Kinda sorta trade some work for it. Anyhow, I've known the owner of this saw for years and I actually worked on this ol gal a couple years ago. Needless to say I'm stoked to be the new owner of it. Has great compression and quite a bit of paint. Bar is way to short so that's gonna be on the fix list shortly. Gonna refit it with a 25 inch Oregon bar most likely. Anyhow....I'm the 3rd owner. Guy I got it from was the 1st owner's son. Followed you home, huh? Nice one! The story on your 700 is a lot like the story of my 700. I worked on one back in the mid-90's I think and the owner gave it to me last year. I'm thinking of restoring mine, it doesn't have nearly as much paint as yours and some of it is red.

Nice TJ! I'll have to take a look at mine again to see if it has the AM oiler.I can't believe how light they are fot the cc's it packs.I just gotta get back to the recoil on it again.Winter's a coming.Lol Ed

77cc manual oiler, its almost my holy grail if only it was the XL-700AM. I'm waiting on that one, only seen one before. Nice! I'll have to keep an eye out for one. Never seen one yet that I know of. |

Yeah not bad on the cc's at all. I found a 24 inch homelite bar I might try and get for it. Almost thinking of pulling the West coast style we are known for and fitting it with a 28 and large falling spike. lol |
