Based on the cylinder bore and the muffler pattern, I believe that is an A-58289 cylinder for the 900 series of saws. I've never had one in stock, so I have no pics to compare to, but maybe Undee70ss, Chainsawlady or Scotts2000 has one on hand or can confirm the diagnosis!

I kept looking at that number & thought it looked awfully familiar.It seems to me that when I was looking for a cylinder for my 902 that that # came up,but that was almost 2 yrs.ago.Come to find out in the end,the 902 had a 903 engine transplanted into it & I never pursued it any further.The 902 didn't have a decomp to it,but the 903 did.Whoever transplanted the engine just bent the pin over on the decomp valve to "deactivate" it. Ed

Here's a large bore 2 5/16 from a 900 series.. second pic is not great but shows difference on skirt between large and small cylinders for 900 series saws.. scott

Thanks for the information everyone. I have a small bore 2 3/16 cylinder that was easy to identify by the casting number but I was unable to identify the large bore by its casting number. Another case where the casting number and part number differ.
