Hey guys I'm looking at the IPL for my 770D and can't find the part # for the main body/ crankcase-handle. The very lower corner below the bucking spike is broken off so I'm looking to replace the part or try to repair it. The saw tilts forward and wobbles.

The part# is A-57640-A, but I don't see any on Ebay right now, at least not new. I believe that the following saws use this part: 7-19, 7-19C, 600D, 600D-A, 663, 700D, 707D, 770D, 775D, Zip (1958), Zip (1959), Zip-A, Zip-B.

Thanks for the information Leon, Joyce believes that she may have 1 in stock 🤞. I received my parts today and installed the governor spring in my model 17.

Al I have the drive case A-57640A one red and one blue. You will want the red one. If you can check on your case on the side of the casting where the two studs head is. and check a number on the casting. This part number on that side is 56836-A. If saw is still together you may not be able to find it. You might want to check with Leo Crouch at House of Homelite. I will lower price to $40.00 plus shipping. I just want to be sre this is the right part. You probably will need gaskets etc. Quite a job to get everything back together. joycewilson26@gmail.com
