I've got to give this some thought. The C5 I had running the other day now refuses to start.I'll fire up with a prime into the carb throat, but won't draw fuel.Plus, once again I've got another saw that needs seals. Ed

It has spark and 120 compression, piston looks good on exhaust but has some strange wear mark on the opposite side near where the wrist pin would be? Everything else looks ok. From tank cover has been removed before. Most likely the saw ingested something during its life, since its on the intake side. Probably not a problem since it still has good compression.

No problem, just let me know. It is definitely going to be a parts saw.

Good luck on finding a diagram or IPL on an HL 141A or 141B.I went on the Tillotson site & they only have 129E,132H,&166B listed.Anything else is higher up,but through my investigation they all take the same O ring packing - part # 44-270 & the small washer - part # 78A-256.I found a place to buy those parts cheaper than dirt - Small Engine Pro Dealer. To replace everything it'll only cost a couple bux. That includes the inlet tension spring (more commonly called the metering spring) that went flying & I found it when I stepped on it.Needless to say it was toast..

Tillotson has a vintage carb section that has the charts in blue. I downloaded them off the site.
