Looks like a Terry 925 to me. But you'll soon have a consult with 5TerrySupersaws...

Built on the 235 day of 1979, and the 0003 saw built that day.

Sorry, I knew it was a Terry SXLAO just wondering about the DOM. Thanks for the response. It's a Homelite-Terry SUPER XL-925 ... much larger than a SXL-AO *UT:10415 ( Super XL-925 ) SN:TA2350003 ..DOM: Thursday, August 23rd, of 1979, unit 3 built that day, UT# last built in '81

Thank you for the information, is there anything posted on the site that would give me that information so I can date my other saws?

Thank you for the information, is there anything posted on the site that would give me that information so I can date my other saws? How many digits the serial numbers have determine on what method is used for dating. 6 and 7 digit serial numbers, use Chainsawlady’s sales records, 8 and 9 digit serial numbers use the memo. Also some Terry built saws from the mid 70’s the “T” is in the middle of the serial number. Also some USA built saws from the mid 70’s don’t have a serial number, just a lot number.
