Hello, I’m new to the forum and could use some help. I have a few Homelite, specifically a blue XL-12 serial #31080433. Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture

Did all the saws in this series have "UT" #'s? I assume if it had one, it would be on the I.D. Tag. I can't find it

UT# would be where your saw has "Model NO XL-12". Your saw was built before Homelite switched from model numbers to UT numbers.

Thanks. I was looking for some parts, and the parts were listed compatible with UT#. Just wanted to make sure i got the correct part.
Thanks again

If you're seeing parts that list compatibility with a specific UT#, then the parts may be too new for your saw model. If you just let us know what parts you're attempting to source, someone here can point you in the right direction.

Thanks blythkd. I'm looking for the duckbill check valve that goes in the aluminum tube in the center of the fuel cap on my XL-12 (1973)

Thanks blythkd. I'm looking for the duckbill check valve that goes in the aluminum tube in the center of the fuel cap on my XL-12 (1973) Duckbill part# 69451 available at : leonschainsawpartsandrepair.com ( click on the link on onlyhomelites post above ) May as well get two or more as the oil cap uses the same duckbill check valve.
