I went to an estate auction this past weekend and got a lot of 4 chainsaws for under $100. One of which was a Homelite Super XL Automatic. From what I have found perusing other threads, it looks like maybe it was made on December 16th of 1978 and was the 290th that day-if someone would mind to confirm/correct me. But I have also not noticed any other we 100451 UT#s on any of the threads I've looked up. Appreciate any response in advance

Yes, Welcome. Looks like a good clean saw. Even if it doesn't run, yet, the bar & chain look virtually new & worth more than you paid right there.
What were the other three?

What were the other three? 2 Poulans that look like they were used for parts(still have bar and chain, though) and a Wizard 110. The only one I actually wanted was the Homelite, but they lumped all 3 together. It turns over, but the cord doesn't fully retract. Hoping to get the time soon to tear it down and clean it up.
