Wanted to share a photo. I believe its from 1978. The saws are an XL and if I remember correctly the other is a 700D. The main saw was in the cab a C5 which I still have. The 700D burned in a shed fire. My dad is 83 now and I can still remember the good times cutting wood with him. Guess who got to split that load. The two story brick house in the background was built in 1864 and had a wood furnace in the basement that heated the whole house. He and my mother still live there but its propane now. Charles. That's neat! Like the 60's chev with the 70's bed. lol The truck was a 1963 and the bed a 1973. The trailer was made from a Studebaker pickup I believe. It had a front straight axle flipped upside down with the spindles welded and no springs. Around 1980 dad bought a 1973 K20 with a full time transfer case and grip spur tires from the farmer where we cut wood. Man what an upgrade. Still have fond memories of the 63.

Great picture, the best of times. Those times spent with your dad have made you what you are today. And you still have the opportunity to thank him! By the way, still have the same hair cut and color?
