I can remember seeing big old saws when I was about 7 or 8 yrs.old,that was in the mid 60's,& I remember the saws had some pretty big chains on them.I just thought"WOW".I wanted to see those saws in action.I'll bet those big old saws had 7/16 & 1/2 in.chains on them.I don't quite remember what the dealership sold,I almost think it was Remington. Ed

It'll cut just fine...I've run some on a Zip and it cuts quite nicely!

It'll cut just fine...I've run some on a Zip and it cuts quite nicely! Since there is some 7/16" chain showing up, I have a 5 gallon bucket of 7/16' chain for old Homelitesaws and also several others, McCulloch, Remington, David Bradley etx. chainsawlady
