I am not familiar with the carb set up on my super 1050. Need some help on starting points for each jet. Well mainly the idle adjustment

I use the same procedure for all of them.
Set the screws about 1 or 1 1/2 turns out.
Start the saw and adjust the high speed screw to the rich side of fastest. Don't hold on fastest for more than a few seconds, lean overheat can happen very fast. Engine should lose some of its smoothness when it is on the rich side.
Adjust the idle for best idle and check for acceleration to wide open. If it stumbles, richen the idle about 1/4 turn and try again.
If you have trouble getting the saw to idle, turn the idle speed screw in until it will run with finger off the trigger. Adjust the mixture screw till the engine runs best then lower the speed screw till it gets rough. Repeat till the chain stops moving and the engine will idle.
If this procedure does not get satisfactory performance, there may be something else wrong with the engine or the carb that needs to be repaired.
