So they did go to red during the production run. This one is a 1973, next to last year. I think the SXL and XL went to red/reddish in 1974 or 1975 as well. Would be nice to know when the EZ went to red, but I'd bet on 1973.

Dad went into business in 73 and all of our Homelites were red. The only blue one I remember was his climbing saw, an XL101 or 103, can't remember for sure which?

Good looking red EZ ! Built: Friday, March 16th, 1973 .. Curious if it's engine size is the same as the blue EZ engine size of 34 cc ? Thanks
