The numbers are : TYPE:10104 ( EZ-Auto ) SN: 91950642 .. DOM: Monday, July 14th, of 1969 .. last year built '71
I have a 1970 red and white EZ Auto. SN:03340774 TYPE:10109 .. SN:93000739 <onlyhomelites' 1969 red/white EZ-Auto

Pretty strange alright. If there is an unreadable digit on the end, as in 1905642X, it could be a 71 or 72... I don't see any EZ auto's in 65 or 66 or until 1970 for that matter. When was it actually introduced?

When was it actually introduced? Never saw a digit over on the type section before, but that would explain it. The Blue EZ and EZ Automatic supposedly ran from 1969-1971, I'm thinking they were the little brothers to the XL-101 and XL-102 Automatic. The red and white EZ Automatic came in after 1971 (I'm not sure if there was a red and white EZ manual oiler), The red and white Super EZ Automatic may have been introduced around 1972-1973

Red and white E-Z Automatic introduced in 1969..discontinued in 1971.
