In dealing with old garden tractors and chainsaws I have found that many people that are unfamiliar or not wholly involved in the hobby or area have a difficult time telling one saw from another or one tractor or mower from another or even one brand from another brand. The EZ-250 I bought in Missouri was marked on the sale tag Jons'red, even though it clearly said Homelite on it. You used to be able to be able to tell cars apart with no problem, but today it getting harder and harder to tell what make a car is by looking at it. McCulloch's were and are yellow, easy. Cub Cadet's were and are yellow, easy. Everything else not so easy.

Here's an XL850 on my saw rack. Unless one has CAD, I doubt many non chainsaw persons will be able to tell the XL Automatic from the XL-850

Also looking for a XL-702AM I believe they were a Terry saw only, but some may have been sold in the US or made there way here, but I'm not sure of that
