I picked up a Super 2, single trigger, in the case yesterday for $15. I got to the auction late as usual and didn't get to look it over. Someone had shined the outside up till it looked almost new. Got it home and I could see the grease through the fins on the recoil. Opened it up and the grease was a 1/4 inch thick. Cleaned it out pretty much spotless, dumped the old fuel, and put it back together. I'm 3 for 3 on little saws in the last couple weeks. Put new fuel in, put the choke on, 5-6 pulls and it started right up. That little bugger screams!. When I pulled the bar it had 3 washers on the out side of the bar stud. Turned out it must have run with a loose bar nut cause the stud is stripped right where the nut should tighten, hence the extra washers. It only has a guide plate on the outside and seems to work well like that. Is it supposed to have an inner guide plate? Looks like I need to get a new bar stud, guide plate if needed, and that's it, Joe.

Nice score! They only had an outer guide plate, so you are set there. The 69195 stud is easy to come by; I've got them in stock and I'm sure chainsawlady has them as well, so I'd go with the best price (likely Joyce).
Those saws make great lightweight limbing saws, you should enjoy running it!

Thanks for the part number, I'll wait till I get a pile together. I know I need a tank gasket for the super 1050 and a cork gas cap gasket for the 150. Give me a week and I can probably fill a shopping cart, Joe.
