What is the drive link count for a chain for a 14" hardnose bar for a EZ Automatic? Also, still looking for an answer to what a Sabre B-11 bar fits. Thanks, Tim

I don't have an answer for you on either question but to figure out the link count, the brand of the bar will need to be known. Also, are there any numbers on the 14" bar and on the Sabre?
Pictures of the numbers are best.

The 14" bar is a Homelite GW-14502. The Sabre bar just has B-11 painted on the bar, could not see stamped numbers in the picture of it. Both are new bars. I have not figured out how to do pictures yet on the computer.

The Homelite bar should take 54 drive links. I would have to research the Sabre bar

The Sabre bar is 16" and should take a 59 drive link chain, the same as a Homelite PT 16381-G3 bar?

The Sabre bar is 16" and should take a 59 drive link chain, the same as a Homelite PT 16381-G3 bar? Probably, but I wouldn’t want to tell you and be wrong. I checked my Sabre catalog but your bar must be newer than my catalog.

The Sabre bars fit my SEZAO's. No numbers stamped on bars anywhere. They look like the same bars as my Homelite bars, even have the Saf-T Tips only they say No Kik Tip on them. Lucky find.

I've come across those bars before and they do use the same link count as the Homelite ones. At one time, Homelite or Textron did own Sabre...in the 80's I believe. I found a list of Textron owned companies at one point and Sabre was listed. I think they were the source for some of the OEM Homelite labeled smaller bars during this time period.

I wish there was a list of Sabre bar part numbers somewhere. It would be helpful in identifying some of the NOS bars that show up on ebay sometimes.

I have a catalog, it’s a 69-70. Can post some pics if needed.
