I can't seem to find an IPL for the E-Z. E-Z super, yes. E-Z Super Auto, yes, but none for the E-Z. I've searched every source I know. Their aren't any for sale either.
Can anyone help.?

I do have the one from Leon's that covers multiple models, but I'm looking for the one that only covers the E-Z.

I ran into the same problem with my old bluer EZ.For the most part I just used the earliest IP: for the SEZ.

Mine does not match the IPL, you posted.

I have never seen anything other than that choke rod used (65072-1)...do you happen to have any pics of your setup? Learn something new every day!

What I think happened is the original broke and they threaded a metal sleeve over it. I guess they were too cheap to buy a replacement.

When I looked at it originally I thought they had lost the choke knob and put a nut on instead. I know the newer SEZ used a one piece knob and rod. Still need to take it apart to confirm, but I think the metal tube part might be threaded over a broken original rod. i.imgur.com/S6BrCG3.jpg

Yeah, that's definitely "redneck engineering". It gets the job done, but it ain't pretty!

I think that a square nut on a chainsaw qualifies for the "redneck" title. :{)
