I think I need a A-12818.
Anyone have a drum or hub and drum to enable me to run 3/8 skip tooth chain on a 750?
I see it was an option???

Mike, Is A-12818 an Oregon number? For the 750 I see A-93865-A as the standard Drum and Hub. My IPL shows Hub and drum with rims as the only configuration. Are you looking for the rim in 3/8 pitch that will fit your existing Drum and Hub I just picked up a 750 with 3/8 pitch chain on a 28" bar.

I got that number from the second link in this message. I think that was a option for the 750. My original search led me to this site. www.psep.biz/store/homelite_chainsaw_sprockets.htmI found this site and then looked at the 750. It only showed .404. So i search OEM parts. I found this site: www.odref.com/homelite/chainsaw/ut-10453a.PDFIt seemed to confirm that the 750 had both drum and hub as well as sprocket drives available. I would like to find a hub for a 3/8 that I can just drop onto my saw. I guess I would consider a sprocket as well. Mike

I don't have it with me right now but, my IPL shows that the 750 was configured with a drum and hub and .404 chain and that is how Homelite shipped it. There are two different drum and hub assemblies listed depending on which clutch is installed. The 3/8 sprocket is listed at the bottom and I didn't see it because there is no reference to it in the pictures. What does your 750 have for a chain sprocket? Does it have a drum-hub-rim on it now? If it does, just by a 3/8 pitch rim. All the Oregon rims fit the Homelite drum-hubs.

You are spot on. I have a 7 spline six clutch. I found rims for $4.95 I am getting a 7 tooth and 8 tooth.
I also found a six tooth sprocket for 750/1050 3/8 chain is should be all set.
