Out of the junkyard haul of saws, I found a Tsumura replaceable sprocket nose bar. The bar was rusty, but the rails are good and it cleaned up nicely. The sprocket nose needs replaced. 48PV82 is the part number of the replacement nose and I found one for $20.95. Are Tsumura bars good and is it worth fixing? Thanks, Tim

The part number on the bar is 489PV2. I think it will fit on my EZ auto. The sprocket nose is for a .325 pitch chain, so I guess I could buy a .325 rim sprocket and have that as an option for chain. I don't know what saw it came off of as it was in the pile of saws at the junkyard

Not sure if they're all made alike, but the couple of Tsumura bars I have are super nice. Steel is very high quality. If it has a replaceable nose, it's most likely a very high quality bar.
