What size bar and how many tooth sprocket on the 750? It's a 21" with a 7 pin. It needs an 8 or 9 pin. It's impossible to bog it down with the 7 pin and short bar.

9 pin would be over 28% increase in speed and reduction in torque, is that actually workable? I put an 8 tooth on my XL-500 and it loves it but that is only 14%. Just asking, I have never run a 750 so I really have no idea.

I bet the 9 will be great with that 21" bar.

Would create a lot of chain speed.

The power they have is phenomenal...if you ever make it to Oregon, we'll go out and run my 750!

Never messed with the output end of a saw before, besides just a longer bar. From whence do these calculations derive?
