I've got several SEZ's,one old blue, the rest (4) are auto's,they all have the same carbs, but because I haven't pulled the off yet,i can't ID them.Acres' ste says that they're all Walbro HDC,I con't trust his site because there are discrepancies there.I'd like to know if all HDC Walbros are the same. 20180227_164850 by edju1958, on Flickr

That's definitely an HDC pictured...I'm not aware of anything else going into the Super EZ.

The kits are K10-HDC and D10-HDC. The K10's are the complete rebuild and the D10's are gaskets and diaphragms only. As usual, no metering spring. All of the HDC carbs regardless of variants, use the same kits.

Thanks Tim! I'm getting all my ducks in a row to put in that big order.Hopefully over the next couple weeks I can get all the carbs rebuilt,or close to it.I started replacing a fuel line earlier today on an Old Blue as well.I've got the line ran,all I need to do is attach it to the carb & attach the fuel filter. The saw looks rough, but it's got a lot of life left in it yet.

Makes sense to me! The EZ's used an HDC-1, HDC-2, HDC-3, HDC-4, HDC-44 & HD-64 over the model run. The K10-HDC or D10-HDC that Tim recommended will service all of them. I prefer the K10 as you get a new fuel inlet needle and arm.

It's good that they include all those"extras",but there's one thing I've often wondered (I've discussed this with Fossil),why is it that Zama is the only carb mfgr.that includes a new metering spring with the rebuild kit, whereas Walbro & Tillotson don't?If you're not careful, that little spring can go flying & then there's a whole bunch of new cuss words that get invented.

True enough! I guess in all fairness, the spring doesn't go bad. But it is a real pain in the butt to try and find it once it's shot across the shop!
