You think 1/2" saw chain is hard to find, try to find 9/16" chain in .050 gauge - oregon #7. That's what I need for my MCS

You think 1/2" saw chain is hard to find, try to find 9/16" chain in .050 gauge - oregon #7. That's what I need for my MCS I am a bit confused on this one. What bar and chain do you have now? Bill

Bill, My MCS has Oregon #7 on it right now. The bar is a four hole about 20" long. I checked the gauge of the grove and it is indeed .050 with a little wear but I can't put a .063 drive like in it. Oregon #7 is 9/16 x .050. I see on Acres's that the MCS was set up with #4. which is 9/16 x .063 It could have a replacement bar, who knows, the saw is 59 +/- years old Craig
