I'm not an expert reading the SNs, but 350s were made around 75-76. They turned into a 360 pretty quickly after that.

Thanks a bunch guys. I bought a 28" bar that fits the 150 Super EZ Auto, 350 and first year 360, unfortunately I didn't have a 350 or the proper inner guide plate for my late model 360 to allow proper bar oiling. Thanks to Leon I have the inner guide plate and I also found a nice running 350 for 80.00 delivered to my door.

Some people trash 'em because of the intake boot and they ain't the lightest weight, but my Dad's 350 is what started my fascination with these saws. Besides they're like a mini 750, and who can't love one of those! Best of luck with getting your's doing what they're made to do (cut trees!).

Dan I heard the same thing, 15 dollar boot replacement after 40 years of service and people think there junk. Wait till they run that new Stihl MS261 or Husky 445 a few years and see how much the parts are to fix it or if its even able to be fixed, lol

Fuel with Ethanol was the death of the boot in the first applications. My 350 never has had ethanol gasoline run through it and the original boot is good as new. I did change it out to upgrade the rest of the induction components. The 350 did not live up to Homelites power expectations, the 360 was developed as a result of the immediate changes to the 350. Not sure if the 28" bar would be too much, the more powerful 360 was only recommended to a maximum of 24. Nice looking saw, let us know if it runs as good as it looks.
