Links do not work. You have to post link to the thread, not the pictures.

It was my point to post the pics. The fellow who has the saw has no tags on it,therefore a pic of the saw might help to identify it.No one needs to go to AS & read the posts.I thought this would ber a simple process.

Then you would have to save the pics and post them here yourself. AS doesn’t allow pics hosted on their site to be shown elsewhere.

When I clicked on the links I posted,it took me right to the pics on their site.I guess it works kinda like a link of pics posted on Craig's list or FB.

Links won't work for me, but I'm not a member. Maybe that's why.

I know how to right click the image, but as to putting it in a folder -I have no idea.I've had no formal computer training whatsoever, just pick it up as I go along. When you right click it will give you many options the one you want is save as, then when you click o save as it will save the picture wit its original file name to your documents or pictures or whatever folder you want, you can rename the picture before or after you save it. I never had any computer training either, I bought my first computer almost 25 years ago when you could almost know most of the people online, I learned as I went, but every year or two you have to relearn different programs and operating systems. Nothing will help brain function more than learning this kind of stuff. I limit my learning to research and collection of information more than operating systems and functions, but I still have to know how to run Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as work arounds concerning non dark web searches. When I first came to computer s we wrote our own code by hand to make pages, there were no page managers or page editors. I remember when JavaScript first came out, it was then I realized I was more interested in the new information coming to the internet more than computer functions and code. I'm pretty good at finding information, I can get by using the operating systems and programs

That saw needs a bath, should keep you busy for awhile Ed. Don't know what it is and will not guess. After seeing about a third of the 1961 information that has been scanned, I was not aware of so many models and variations. Many thanks to onlyhomelites and undee for their time and work at getting that accomplished. So keep us informed about that old saw and good luck with it.

I'm no expert on details of the vertical cylinders, but I'd guess something like a 700G. Missing it's cylinder cover so I couldn't tell if it's 707,770, etc. It's not a Wiz variant since it has the ball starter. Could be a 5-20 with the different carb. My 5-20 has a hard line from the petcock, but think they had some that were different. Whatever it it, it'll be fun!

Pretty sure that's the wrong cylinder for a 4-20 or 5-20. Maybe a model 17?

If anyone is interested in this saw (I'm not),you can contact the owner at:deadenddudes@gmail.com.He goes by"MH".I'd like to see someone salvage this saw, otherwise I believe it's going for scrap. He's located in Wa,state.I think it could be bought for about $50,maybe less.I told him that since it's missing tags it isn't worth as much to a collector.
