In the IPL for the Super EZ, it shows a model Super EZ AOW. What doe's the W stand for in AO and what is the difference, just the muffler? Thanks, Tim

AO means auto oiler. The W is just the muffler I believe.

The W stands for an optional full Wraparound handle...if I remember correctly

On the Super EZ, "W" was a western package that included the full wrap handle and a special muffler with a shield and spark arrestor that met forestry standards at the time (still does for that matter).

Has anyone ever seen one set up like that? That must have been a rare option back then. Looking at the IPL, I see the part numbers for it. It would be cool to have on a little saw like that. On my Super EZ Automatic, it has the spark arrestor muffler. I had the small perforated cap two piece muffler on a parts saw I put on it but it was a lot louder so I put the other back on. Is there a performance drop with the spark arrestor muffler?

I saw a full wrap handle kit on ebay month ago or so, brought about 30.00 but you need the support bracket part as well, but there was also one of those for sale for under 10.00

There's no performance loss that I can tell with a spark arrestor. Only time that comes into play is if it gets plugged up with carbon. The full wrap is a neat option, but not very practical on a saw this small.
