Finished the last of the repairs to this old girl. She needed a new fuel lines, spark plug, and throttle rod boot. Replaced the aftermarket bar with something more appropriate and with that she's a 5 pull start with an old school roar. Thanks for all the great advise and product information.

I thought she looked pretty well for a 50 year old saw when I spotted her for sale. With the new parts I think I have less than a $ per cc invested in her.

I just sold one to a guy from the Homelite Facebook group page, I bought mine thinking it was a auto oiler from Info from Mike Acres site, I passed it on with a original 20" hard tip bar for 225.00 and shipping. It didn't take long, saws in the condition yours and mine are are the saws you wan to buy, someone took care of hem. It pains me to see how some people take care of things.

Looks great, hope it runs as well as it looks. Owning and running the saw will be your next pleasure, be proud of your work.

I sure like those Blue saws and I like the 900 series. Unfortunately I don't remember them back in the day. When Homelite was making Blue saws. Dad was running Macs. He switched to Homelites in the early 70's and all I remember is Red. I have a couple Blues, but don't remember using them, Joe.
