www.flickr.com/photos/138659658@N05/shares/yh9D44If I don't post or reply to anything for the next several days I will be out cutting every tree, limb, shrub, twig, branch or bush I can find. Its not quite perfect got a little tuning to do but for all the problems I can say its running now.

Sounds pretty good! Couldn't hardly hear anything breaking!
(Leon, Greg, I will call the nut house and tell them he will not be coming in just yet.)

Yea but I can’t take all the credit without this forum and these 3 guys that just commented in front of you that old saw would still be in the corner in my dads shop. Of course credit belongs to Leon’s site as well and his parts inventory and especially Ms Joyce there are certainly some of her parts there too

I will say the carb work turned out great and not sure I could’ve done that myself as I have never really worked on them in the first place. Of course it has a new kit in it but it also got a new inlet seat and needle, new throttle shaft, new packing on idle mixture and high side mixture needles. The work was done by EC Carburetors in Dickson TN. They came recommended by Tillotson and at $70 bucks including shipping I think it’s a fair price.

Nice job, thanks for sharing the whole experience with the forum. Go have fun with the saw, knowing that it's a family heirloom is priceless. 70 bucks not out of line.

That saw is running great! Anything that will idle that long and rev up without a puff of smoke is tuned just right. Well done!
