Just wondering if a rim sprocket assembly was available for a Super 2.

I don't believe so. Why would you want one anyways?

I don't believe so. Why would you want one anyways? Do you not like rim sprockets? Or just not on smaller saws? I don't know much about them

For the XL/Super 2 saws.....Nobody made them for smaller saws. The spur sprockets are not expensive and are 6 tooth. The smallest rim in standard spline is 7 tooth. Even if you found a splined drum that would fit, these saws won't pull a 7 tooth.
Yes I like rims, allows you to change the tooth count or chain pitch without changing the drum.

I had never seen one, just wondered if they had ever made one. Who has the lowest price on sprockets? I hate to give $25.00 for a sprocket for $20.00 saw.

Am I correct that you also have to go up 1 drive link on all your chains with the rim sprockets?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but would the seven tooth (.325 or is it 3/8"?) sprocket the same on the Super 2, XL, 150, and Super EZ Auto?

I was going to order a new sprocket from Joyce and she suggested the two piece rim sprocket and hub to allow for a rim replacement in the future and not both spur and hub. I was also wondering about the possible change in chain links to accommodate the rim sprocket. The chain on my 100 dollar saw is the only part that looks like it won't need replacement.

I have 1/4" sprocket/chain on my oldest XL2 auto. It came with a 12" hard nose bar but I upgraded to a 12" 1/4 sprocket tip from Joyce. My newer XL2 auto came with 3/8lp and a sprocket tip 12" bar. The plastic Classic 200 came with 3/8LP and a longer 16" sprocket tip because it has a bigger engine. I have not seen any rim sprockets offered for this family of saw.
