What is the best way to restore the color to sun faded plastic? The textured red plastic cover is faded on my Waterbug pump. The air filter covers on my Super XL's as well. Thanks, Tim!

It's not perfect, but the "Back to Black" aerosol can for automotive trim works pretty well. The more "chalky", the less successful it is, but I brought some pretty faded Husky parts back to respectable this weekend.

I make a mixture of equal parts linseed oil, turpentine and beeswax that is great for plastics, rubber etc. Works great on that kind of stuff. Beats Armorall by a mile for your tires & the linseed oil actually helps preserve the rubber.

I have some of that in a squeeze bottle and tried it on a Husky handle/tank that has become dark orange. No luck. I guess it’s discolored from the inside due to fuel fumes. Thanks for the tip though.
