A good friend of mine gave me this 4-20 to get running a few months ago. Was in fairly rough shape and had been sitting about 20 years in his shop. Took the challenge and with a carb kit, fuel lines, and cleaning she was running. Put a 32" roller nose bar on it and sharpened up the chain. Made some cuts with it and since I had a bunch of paint left over from the 770gs resto this was the next project. Just a repaint and no rebuild. Saw ran like a champ, but is now practically new as everything is dry. Just waiting on decals. 008 by TJ McCauley, on Flickr 007 by TJ McCauley, on Flickr

Don't know how this thread went relatively unnoticed back in January...? One of those days where there were too many new posts at once and things got shoved way down the line? Did you ever put the decals on it?

I'm really curious what it looks like inside when the side is off of the fuel tank. Happen to have any pictures of that? Mine is pretty cruddy inside, I'm thinking it may just be easier to open it up to clean it.
