Model number CG-S-EZ, serial number 23130143. I think it's a 1973 saw, but has anyone seen this type of model number on a Super EZ Auto, or any other saw? Thanks

I'm really not sure what the "CG" stands for, but they are listed in the last year built listings.

I think this would be a 1973 model and probably the first year of the Super EZ in red and white, not sure of the month or year, but I was wondering if the number could have been to note the use of the new Safe-T-Tip guard, i.e., Chain Guard CG

When the Super EZ first came out it was red and white after 1975-77 it was red with some black, over the years it was varying amounts of black on a red saw. I don't think they made a Super EZ in blue.
